Any additional shipping charges such as Standard Post, Express Post or Courier are non-refundable. 

All our towels have a lifetime warranty on any manufacturing defects. 

Return Instructions:

Simply contact us at towels@rockycay.com.au to request a prepaid Australia Post return label. We will then send the label as an email attachment and return instructions.

Once the towels are received back at our warehouse, your order will be automatically refunded to the original form of payment.

Q: What is a Sand Free Beach Towel?

A:  Sand free beach towels are made from microfibre materials with no yarns or loops where sand can get trapped; so when you shake the towel the sand just glides off. 

Q: Why do you say your beach towels are quick-drying?

A:  The towel material is designed to dry much faster than cotton towels, which can be particularly helpful at the beach or pool where there is often a breeze. This quick-drying feature makes our towels convenient to use and allows them to be packed away easily without worrying about them staying damp and developing odours.

Q:  How absorbent are your beach towels?

A:  Our towels are made from a highly absorbent material. They are designed to quickly absorb and trap water, making them more effective at drying off compared to traditional cotton towels. The microfibres are ultrafine and have a large surface area, allowing them to absorb much more moisture in a shorter amount of time – over 3-times more per square cm than regular towels, approx. 1 litre of water. This makes them a popular choice for beachgoers who want to quickly dry off after swimming or bathing.

Q: What is the difference between your beach towels and regular towels?

A: There are several differences between microfibre towels and traditional cotton towels. Firstly, microfiber towels are made of synthetic materials, Rockycay’s are a unique blend of polyester and polyamide, whereas cotton towels are made of natural cotton fibres. Secondly, microfibre towels have smaller fibres and a higher thread count, making them more effective at absorbing water and repelling particles. Additionally, microfiber towels are quick-drying, while cotton towels may take longer to dry. Lastly, microfiber towels are often more lightweight and compact, making them convenient for travel or gym use.

Q:  How should my beach towels be properly washed and dried?

A:  To wash towels, it is best to use warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners as they can reduce absorption. Tumble drying on a low heat setting is recommended to prevent shrinkage and maintain the towel's quality. Make sure the towels are completely dry before folding and storing to prevent a musty odour.

Q:  Can your beach towels be used as bathroom towels?

A: Yes, our beach towels can also be used as regular bath towels. The quick-drying properties of these towels make them convenient for both beach and bathroom use. They are lightweight and compact making them ideal for small spaces such as caravans and camping tents.
